Alumni and community borrowers living in Nova Scotia can borrow from over a hundred libraries across the province, including public, community college and university libraries. Materials can be returned to any of the participating libraries. It’s free, easy and convenient. It’s your library, everywhere you are! To request an official MSVU Alumni Card, contact our Alumni Office at email@example.com. Library staff will prepare your new Alumni Card, update your Library record, and work with the Alumni Office to arrange for pickup or delivery.
Mount Alumni can use their official Alumni Card, a Novanet Card, or any Nova Scotia public library card to access materials from any public library, bookmobile, university or community college library across the province of Nova Scotia, as well as Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB.

PLEASE NOTE: Alumni and Community Borrowers are subject to the same lending policies and fines as regular student borrowers. Community members may borrow 10 MSVU items at time.

Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery
Borrowing books via the Novanet System and requesting they be delivered to the Mount or your closest Library is free of charge. There is a $10 charge for requesting books or articles outside Novanet but within Canada. For material requested that is located outside of Canada, the requester must pay the cost the lending library charges the Mount.
