Dr. Gonick is Canada Research Chair in Gender and holds a cross-appointment in Education and Women and Gender Studies. She is a collaborator on the SSHRC Partnership Grant Networks for Change and Wellbeing: Girl-led ‘from the group up’ policy making andonthe CIHR funded Promoting Health Through Collaborative Engagement with Youth in Canada: Overcoming, Resisting and Preventing Structural Violence. She is co-creator (with her brother Noam Gonick) of Voices in Longitude and Latitude an 18 min video installation that explores what it means to be a girl in Canada. The video premiered at the MSVU art gallery in March 2014.

Dr. Gonick is the Graduate Coordinator for the Graduate Women and Gender Studies program.
