Welcome to Online Learning

For almost 40 years, MSVU has been offering distance education courses and programs and has maintained flexibility and accessibility in its offerings. MSVU is a leader in online education, with a strong and pioneering history in remote program delivery.

Online Learning provides academic support to faculty and students using the various educational technologies in the Mount Online Learning Platform, both in the classroom, fully online, multi-access or blended.

Mount Online Learning Platform

A secure, reliable and modern online learning platform is continually supported and maintained for all users. MSVU’s suite of educational technologies include: Moodle, the learning management system; Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, the virtual and synchronous online classroom space; and Office 365 apps such as Teams, OneNote, Stream, and Yammer.

Moodle and more

Future and current MSVU students are invited to explore the courses and programs available through online delivery, course delivery modes, how to prepare for starting a new term and taking online courses, and what support services are available to assist you.

Take Online Courses

Online Learning is here to support all faculty in your use of the educational technologies, regardless of the mode of delivery. The beginning of each new term requires Online Learning to prioritize fully online and multi-access courses to ensure faculty and students are able to successfully launch their first online class.
