The Curriculum Resource Centre (CRC) is located in Room 408 of the Seton Academic Centre. This small resource library offers curriculum support material - teacher resource books, textbooks, curriculum guides, picture books, novels, magazines, kits, games, math manipulatives, digital video and still cameras, videos, and computer software - for preschool to high school teachers.
Everyone is welcome to browse and use material within the CRC; however, only students, faculty, and staff of the Education and Child & Youth Study departments have borrowing privileges.

Circulation Policies
A current Student/Staff ID card, issued at the Mount Library in EMF Centre, is required when borrowing material. CRC materials must be borrowed, renewed and retruned at the CRC. Materials are nto eligible for Novanet Express or Interlibrary Loan.
Loans
Loan periods vary depending on the type of material:

Faculty and Graduate Students are granted term loans where applicable.
No extended loans are given to students on practicum, but renewals are granted.
Renewals
- Renewals will be granted online, by email or by phone 457-6426. Have your Student/Staff ID card on hand for phone renewals.
- Regular loan materials can be renewed 3 times.
- Materials placed on hold by another borrower cannot be renewed.
- Reserve materials cannot be renewed.
Fines & Fees
- Fines will be charged for materials not returned by the due date.
- Fines accumulate at a rate of $0.25 per item per day to a maximum of $20 per item.
- Borrowing privileges will be suspended when fines total $10 or more.
- Fines for reserve items vary, and accumulate quickly. Please return reserve materials promptly to avoid fines.
- Fines for Cameras and other AV equipment accumulate at a rate of $10 per day.
- Fines for recalled materials are $1.00 per day per item to a maximum of $20.00 per item.
- Replacement fees will be charged to the last person who borrowed the item(s) should the following occur:
• the item is returned damaged.
• the item is more than two months past due.
- The replacement cost for each lost or damaged item is the item’s replacement value PLUS a $20
- processing fee.

CRC Computers
The CRC has 6 MacIntosh computers, which may be used for word processing and searching the Internet.
Education Technology Lab
This lab is located in Seton 406 and is accessed through the CRC. Education students may use the lab for personal work when there are no scheduled classes. The lab includes 17 PCs running on WindowsXP, two scanners, a laser printer, and an LCD projector. Major applications include Microsoft Office 2007 and Inspiration/Kidspiraton 8.
Printers/Photocopier
The CRC and the Education Technology Lab are each equipped with laser printers. Printing costs 15¢ per page if using CRC-provided paper or 5¢ per page if using self-supplied paper.
Students and visitors can use the photocopier located in the hallway outside the CRC. Copy cards can be obtained at the Mount Library in the EMF Centre. Paper for the photocopier is available at the CRC circulation desk.
CRC Staff
The CRC staff includes one full-time coordinator and several student assistants. All staff members are available to assist you with locating information, retrieving reserve materials, and answering any questions you may have. Staff are also available to provide minimal assistance in the technology lab, such as clearing printer jams and providing paper and toner.
