Research and Teaching Interests
  • Learning and teaching of rational number concepts.
  • Particularly interested in the impact that natural language has on the formation of learning and teaching of rational number concepts.
  • Recent work on the use of virtual environments to explore children’s learning of dynamic mathematical phenomena is taking me into new theoretical directions.
  • Numeracy in the workplace.
