Research Interests:
My research group focuses on the design and synthesis of novel ligand scaffolds that promote unique reactivity and unconventional bonding motifs in both transition metal and main-group complexes. We are particularly interested in redox-active (non-innocent) ligands capable of stabilizing a wide range of metal oxidation states, functioning as electron reservoirs, and potentially exhibiting luminescent properties. A complementary area of interest involves incorporating phosphorus atoms into ligand backbones, providing a convenient 31P NMR handle for probing reaction mechanisms and monitoring catalytic processes.
