About Vincent’s Restaurant

Vincent’s is a teaching kitchen that supports education for students enrolled in Tourism and Hospitality Management courses.

Students have an opportunity to engage in learning as they experience working in a commercial kitchen, operating a restaurant business, or planning and organizing a catering event.

Having a facility like Vincent’s on campus allows our students the opportunity to apply the theory learned in their class(es) in a practical environment like the event below.

Want to learn about why we have a teaching restaurant?

  • Check out the article in our Fall 2023 Newsletter, page 8.
  • Also check out page 9 where you can learn more about our Lab Instructor Deanna Struthers.

Today’s Feature

Ask your server for today’s feature.

Each management team creates a unique feature for their restaurant opening.
During the term, each lab class operates three restaurant openings as part of their hands-on learning experience. Every student will take on the role of manager, line cook, and server once.
Thank you for supporting this learning experience. Your presence as our guests makes this opportunity possible for our students.
