Research Interests

I am interested in cognitive development across the lifespan, and more specifically:

  • How we externalize our memory with symbols and its influence on our cognitive processing (e.g., relying on smart phones)
  • Children and adults’ understanding of nonverbal communication in different contexts such as deception or when communicating online
  • Adolescent judgment and reasoning abilities
