Research Interests
My primary area of research has been the examination of normal visual functioning and the effects thereon of early abnormal experience. Specifically, I have studied the development of the visual field in normal children and in children treated for eye problems. Of late, my research has examined teaching-learning issues at the post-secondary level (e.g., academic integrity, teaching practices in Distance Education, preparation for complex multiple choice examinations, and assessment of a Student Success Program). In 2001, I was the recipient of the MSVU Instructional Leadership Award.
