Academic Advising

Newly Accepted High School Students – Read Below:

High School students starting in 2024-2025 can begin registering for courses at our Early Advising & Registration Event in May. More information will be released prior to the event.

To prepare for this event, please feel free to review program requirements in the Academic Calendar and review our First-Year Advising Page. The course selection guide on the First-Year Advising Page gives an idea of what a typical first-year student may take. If you do not have access to myMount you can review courses through WebAdvisor by selecting ‘Search for classes (no login required)’. There is a video on our First-Year Advising Page that walks through the registration process, which you can review at any time to prepare.

Book an academic advising appointment with staff advisors in the Centre for Academic Advising & Student Success (CAASS). If you have declared a major, you may be connected with faculty advisors in your field to discuss your major courses and opportunities within your field. Please review the information below prior to booking your appointment.

Prospective students should connect with MSVU’s Recruitment Team or Admissions Office. Please connect with our office once you have your MSVU student ID number, email address, and transcript assessment (if applicable).
