Book an Academic Advising appointment with staff advisors in the Centre for Academic Advising and Student Success (CAASS). If you have declared a major, you may be connected with faculty advisors in your field to discuss your major courses and opportunities within your field of study.
2+2 Advising
*All 2+2 students must email advising@msvu.ca or Cindy Huelin for an appointment. If you are not a 2+2 student, you will be redirected to book an appointment with another advisor.
Only those students who have applied through an articulation agreement should book an academic advising appointment with Cindy Huelin. This includes specific transfer students from New Brunswick Community College, Nova Scotia Community College, Bermuda College, Holland College, Lasalle College, and other international institutions. Not sure if you are a part of the 2+2 program? Reach out before booking your appointment or review the 2+2 program here. All other transfer students should book with any other advisor.
Academic Advising for Communication and Public Relations Students
If you are enrolled in the Communication Major or Public Relations program, you have access to a team of staff and faculty to support you throughout your studies: For help with course sequencing and scheduling, contact Kathryn.Britten@msvu.ca in the Communication Studies Department. Kathryn can also connect you with faculty advisors in the Department to discuss program and career related questions. Meet with Academic Advisors in the Centre for Academic Advising and Student Success to learn about the range of academic supports and services available to you in the Centre and across campus. CAASS advisors can also discuss minor requirements, elective options, and help ensure you are taking steps to meet your academic and personal goals.
