Barre Fitness:
A unique class combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga & strength training. Classes incorporate standing & mat work using classic dance moves and static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. Done in bare feet using a chair. For all skill levels.

 

Boot Camp:
Don’t miss this new boot camp class blending the best of HIIT and TABATA training. Experience heart-pounding intervals that alternate between high intensity bursts and brief recovery periods, maximizing fat burn and endurance. Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting, this dynamic boot camp promises a challenging and exhilarating workout. Join us for a session that will leave you feeling empowered and energized!

 

Cardio Burn & Core:
Sixty minutes to sweat and have fun with multiple forms of cardio and core training and that will engage every muscle in the body. All levels welcome. 

 

Core & More:
Abs & back are only the beginning. Core & More gives you a total body workout! Using balls, foam rollers and lots more creates a challenging & fun toning class.

 

Core & Stretch:
Target those important muscles in our centre and ensure a well-balanced body. Exercises to tone abs, back, hips and then a total body stretch to allow for some well-deserved relaxation.

 

INTERVAL GROOVE: Take simple dance cardio moves and a variety of strength and endurance exercises and combine them into intervals for the perfect mix! Sweat, burn, and have tons of fun in this total body workout. Designed for all ages with options for all levels!

 

Line Dance:  Looking for a fun, social activity that will also get your heart pumping? Join one of our most popular instructors for line dancing to a variety of music. Learn routines in these styles and more: country, waltz, salsa, and jive. Leave with new routines and a smile on your face! *For all skill levels.

 

MPowered:
LOW impact. HIGH intensity! This MOUNT signature workout is the perfect way to build bodies, not break them. Using minimal equipment, you will do both strength and cardio intervals for a class experience like NO OTHER! Spark your metabolism and burn calories like a pro.

 

POWER & STABILITY:
Ready to get stronger mentally & physically? Build your overall strength and power in this focused but fun workout.  Safely develop greater muscle tone & improve your balance with the use of a variety of free weights as well as sandbags, body bars and your bodyweight. Incorporates ideas from boxing, yoga and power lifting. Open to all levels!
*Virtual participants: We recommend you have a large range of weight options at your disposal. Some exercises may not be possible to duplicate outside the studio.

 

STEP:
Rock your cardio and challenge your brain with basic step aerobics. Virtual participants can do movements on the floor if no step platform is available. Designed for all levels.

 

Step & Pump:
Rock your cardio and challenge your brain with basic step aerobics. Then target muscle strength and endurance with safe & effective weight training. Use of dumbbells, stability balls & other resistance tools will make this feel like a total body challenge!

 

Strong Nation®:
STRONG Nation® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. In each class you’ll burn calories while toning the whole body. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees and jumping jacks are interchanged with strength moves like lunges or squats, and kickboxing. A unique and fun workout you don’t want to miss!

 

Walk it Out:   
Walking, climbing, strengthening and stretching. Led by an instructor. Outdoors on nice days. What else could you possibly need? Make some connections with others who like to walk and improve your general wellbeing. Meet at the gymnasium. Your week will be off to a GREAT start!

 

Yogalates:
This class fuses the mindfulness of yoga and the therapeutic value of pilates. Awaken your deepest core muscles and improve flexibility & posture. With the use of props, modifications are offered and injuries are avoided. Suitable for everyone, this class will leave you feeling stronger and standing taller!

 

Yoga classes:

  • Yoga:  A must-do class that combines different Yoga styles and will improve your strength, flexibility, balance and peace of mind. The perfect break in your day to leave you calm and refreshed. Suitable for all levels.
  • Yoga Beats:  This class is a music-based, power flow class designed for everyone from beginners to the experienced. Classes will challenge you but also provide variations and choice, having a balance of strengthening and mobility. The music will move you with a fusion of R&B, Afrobeats, LoFi, popular hits and more. While the practice is guided, you have the freedom to choose what it will look like for you.
  • Strength Yoga:  In this challenging and rewarding yoga class you will burn calories and work up a sweat with fast-paced, vinyasa style flows. You can expect: Focus on muscle endurance and strength building alongside breath, poses that target multiple muscles at once providing a solid workout for a variety of muscle groups and improved stamina and focus. Bring a water bottle and towel and be ready to move!

 

Zumba:
Take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Our membership and day pass options are available for anyone 18+ years of age, and includes access to.  Please bring proof of ID to purchase.

  • Day Pass Fee:  $8.70 + hst, per day.  Non-members can attend a Group Fitness Class by purchasing an MFC Day Pass. Non-members must still set up an account through our online booking system, or drop-in to book your spot in class. Click here for more information.

Fitness Classes can be booked up to seven days in advance:

Step #2:

  • Select the “Program Registration” button
  • Select “Fitness Classes”
  • Select the fitness class you would like and hit “BOOK”. Please note:
    • Book button: The class is available to book.
    • More button: The class is scheduled for the future but can only be booked 7 days in advance.
    • Closed button:  The class is over.
  • Select the participant.
  • Answer the questions.
  • Select the fee:
    • If you have an active All-Access membership:  Select the “Fitness Class Booking with membership – FREE” option (this should automatically default to the correct fee).
    • If you do not have a membership: Select the “Fitness Class – one class” option.
  • Hit “Next”
  • This will take you to the cart.
    • If you would like to add more classes, select “Continue Shopping”
    • If you would like to check out, select “Place My Order”
