  • MFC membership: $160.00 + hst
  • Social Club membership: FREE
  • NEW! 25% discount on select Recreation & Fitness programs: All MSVU staff are eligible. No membership required.

MFC Memberships for Faculty & Staff

The Mount Fitness Centre offers a membership which includes:

Faculty & staff fee: $160.00 + hst

  • Memberships are valid from September 15, 2026 – September 14, 2027
  • If you purchase your membership after September 15, 2026, it will be pro-rated based on your purchase date.

Payment options:

  • Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • Payroll deduction:
    • Pay for your membership with 12 bi-weekly installments through payroll deduction.
    • Enrollment is only available once per year from late August to early September.
    • 2026-27 enrollment will be available from August 31-September 15, 2026.
    • To enroll: Complete the form listed in Step #2 below.

Step # 2 

  • Complete this MFC faculty & staff form
  • Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, the MFC staff will activate the Faculty & Staff membership rate.
  • Note: Payroll deduction enrollment is available on the form in Step #2, and is only available from August 31-September 15, 2026.

Step #3

We will email you once your Faculty and Staff rate has been activated.

  • If you selected to pay online or at the desk:  Once you receive our email indicating your rate has been activated, you can log in and proceed with your registration.
  • If you selected Payroll Deduction:  We will register you for the items you selected and email you the receipt.

Social Club Membership

This club was designed to provide a variety of free, fun and engaging activities for MSVU faculty and staff. Once you are registered for your Social Club membership, you will have access to numerous activities including:

  • Walking Crew: 
    Tuesdays, October 6 – October 27, 2026 | 12:10-12:55pm
    Location: Meet in the Rosaria Lobby
  • Paint-Along:
    Wednesday, October 14 | 12:10-12:55pm
    Location: TBA
  • Halloween Candy Bingo:
    Wednesday, October 28 | 12:10-12:55pm

  • Office Antics:
    Wednesday, November 18 | 12:10-12:55pm
    Location: Gymnasium
  • Jeopardy:
    Wednesday, December 2 | 12:10-12:55pm

  • Pickleball drop-in & play: 
    • Fall term: Thursdays, September 3-December 17, 2026  |  12:00-1:00pm
    • Location: Gymnasium
    • Additional dates for will be added throughout the year.
    • To play:
      • You must be a registered member of the social club and you must register for the 2026-27 Drop-in Pickleball program.
      • This is a flexible drop-in program. Once you are registered, you can choose which dates you want to attend.
      • No equipment needed. Paddles and balls are provided.

Step # 2 

  • Complete this MFC faculty & staff form
  • Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, the MFC staff will activate the Faculty & Staff discounted rate.
  • Then, you can register online for any Recreation or Fitness program that interests you and the 25% discount will automatically apply to eligible programs.

Prior to registering, please review our refund policy.

You must scan your Mount Fitness Centre membership card on every visit:

  • If you already have a card, it will still be active.
  • New members can pick their card at the MFC desk on their first visit.

Once your membership is activated by MFC staff, you will receive an email from Mount Fitness Centre with your user name and temporary password. Please use this information to set your account password.  Once complete, you will be able to register for programs and services online.

To set your password:

  • You will receive this email from communication@perfectmind.com, with the subject line “Your Login Information for Mount Fitness Centre”.
  • This is not spam or a phishing attempt. These links are valid.
  • The email will provide you the user name (your email address), a temporary password and link.  Use this information to login and the system will prompt you to change your password.
  • If the email is not in your Inbox, please check your Junk mail.
  • If you have not received the email, please email mount.fitness@msvu.ca or call 902-457-6420.

Online Registration

Once your Membership has been activated at the MFC, you can register online for recreation programs and Social Club activities.
