Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports are organized sports leagues and events offered by Mount Campus REC for all MSVU students. They’re designed to be fun, inclusive, and accessible to all skill levels.

Volleyball Cup

Have fun this fall and compete in the Volleyball Cup!

Register as a team by designating a team captain, or sign up as an individual and we’ll place you on a team! All MSVU students are welcome.

Drop-in Volleyball 

Join us for drop-in volleyball at the Mount! This is a great opportunity for MSVU students to play in a relaxed, friendly environment – no registration required. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just want to try something new, everyone is welcome.

Important: You must have a valid MFC student membership and scan your card at the MFC desk to attend.

Looking for a fun way to unwind after a long day? Join us for drop-in badminton under the lights – a fast-paced, social sport that’s perfect for all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just trying it out for the first time, this is your chance to smash, rally, and have a great time with friends.

We have a limited number of badminton racquets available for loan at the Mount Fitness Centre front desk.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, January 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $30 and include transportation, equipment rental, lesson and helmet.

Mount Mystics Home Games

MSVU students get free admission to all Mystics home games with a valid student ID card.

Check out all the sports schedules at mountmystics.ca.

All MSVU students are welcome with their FREE All-Access Mount Fitness Centre membership to drop in and use the gymnasium during Open Gym time.

The Open Gym schedule is SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE and is modified regularly due to gym availability.

Open Gym Guidelines

  • All participants are required to stop and check in at the Mount Fitness Centre desk.
  • Participants must be respectful of the space, equipment, activity and skill level of all participants.
  • Equipment can be signed out at the MFC desk. The gymnasium equipment room is not open to the public.
  • Soccer balls and badminton nets are not permitted for use during open gym time.
  • Protective eyewear is recommended for racquet sports.
  • Any music played must have respectful lyrics and kept at a reasonable volume.
  • In the event of an accident/emergency, notify the MFC staff immediately.
  • For the safety and enjoyment of all, participants must adhere to the Mount Fitness Centre Rules and Regulations & Open Gym Guidelines
