Experienced tutors at the Writing Centre help students with any type of academic written work -- including presentations, slides, interview questions, personal reflection and creative writing in addition to  all stages of essay and research papers -- for undergraduate and graduate programs. Whether you're fresh out of high school, just arrived from overseas, or going back to school after many years: we can help. 
Winter 2019: the Writing Centre is open for student appointments Jan 14 - April 12

  • The Centre offers bookable appointment hours on weekdays and weekends, as a free service for all Mount students, faculty, and staff -- for academic, creative, and professional writing. 
  • In addition to single appointments, you can book regular, repeat appointments in the same time slot all term.
  • Didn't book? Quick question? No problem! We offer a weekly drop-in (Fall & Winter terms, Friday mornings 10 - 1).   NEW in Winter 2019: extra Wednesday afternoon Seton #304 drop-in from 2 - 4 with Cooper, in the comfy lounge of the Centre for Academic Advising - no appointments, just show up!

  • The Centre is open for all academic terms, including Summer Sessions (closed between terms).

  • Our tutors edit and proofread with you (we don't correct your papers for you.) Our aim is to help you learn to do these tasks yourself.
