Free Tax Filing at the Mount!

Our 4th Annual Tax clinic is now taking appointments to file your tax return. This service is free of charge for all students at the Mount.

Scavenger Hunt

The Financial Management Society is hosting an on-campus Scavenger Hunt from March 16-23rd! Find us on IG @Finance_SocietyMSVU for the riddles and participation. 9 riddles to answer, three released each day Monday-Wednesday. Each day the riddles become harder and the chocolates become bigger and better!

Jack Talk: Performance-Based Self Worth

Jack Talks are mental health presentations delivered by trained and certified youth speakers who tell powerful personal stories and provide mental health education. Throughout our Jack Talk, we will explore ways to separate self-worth from performance and build self-compassion just before we enter exam season. This event will also be a fundraiser for Phoenix House, a non-profit organization that supports at-risk and homeless youth by providing programs related to shelter, food, housing support, health care, parenting support, recreation, education, employment services, and clinical therapy. We will be selling tickets for a chance to win exciting prizes, with proceeds going to Pheonix Youth Programs. Food will also be provided for those who RSVP for this event.

A Talk with Oji-Cree Storyteller Joshua Whitehead

Joshua Whitehead (he/him) is a Two-Spirit and Oji-Cree member of Peguis First Nation (Treaty 1). He is the author of full-metal indigiqueer, Jonny Appleseed, Making Love with the Land, and Indigiqueerness: a Conversation About Storyteling as well as the author of Love after the End: an Anthology of Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer Speculative Fiction. Whitehead is an Assistant Professor and Research Excellence Chair at the University of Calgary where he is housed in the departments of English and International Indigenous Studies.
