The MSVU Athletics and Recreation department offers gymnasium and studio rentals throughout the year.

Located in the Rosaria Student Centre at 131 Lumpkin Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia, the A. Garnet Brown Gymnasium features:
*All rates are for a 55 minute booking.
Rentals must end on time to maintain the facility schedule. Failure to leave on time will result in late charges.
Proof of insurance is required before the rental begins.
As required by Mount Saint Vincent University, the Renter shall, at it’s own expense, and without limiting obligations or liabilities herein, provide and maintain the following policies of insurance with insurers licensed in Nova Scotia and in forms and amounts accepted by Mount Saint Vincent University.
General Liability Insurance with a limit of two million dollars ($2,000,000), inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage including loss of use there of. Such insurance shall extend to cover the Renter and the Renter’s Guests, it’s officers, employees, servants, agents, contractors, and volunteers as additionally insured with respect to liability arising out of the use of or occupation by the Renter and the Renter’s Guests of the property belonging to Mount Saint Vincent University.
Our peak season of facility activity runs from September-April. During this time, rental space is limited.
Space is primarily allocated to MSVU programming – varsity athletics, campus recreation, academic classes, and member time. Any additional available space is designated for rental groups.
