Welcome to the MSVU Health Office! We provide care for MSVU students and for members of the community who are registered with our family practice. We remain open year-round!
Announcement – Dr. Veerassamy and Dr. Cumming
Please be advised that Dr. Shalini Veerassamy & Dr. Andrew Cumming’s family practice will be relocating to Needham Health Home, located at 6074 Lady Hammond Road, Suite 4001, Halifax, NS, effective February 23, 2026. The new office phone number will be 902 498 2007. All appointments scheduled on or before February 20, 2026 will continue to take place at the MSVU Health Office. After Feb 20, 2026, appointments may continue to be booked through Pomelo or by calling 902 498 2007. Needham Health Home will also use Pomelo for appointment scheduling after the move. We look forward to continuing to provide care to our patients at the new location.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., except public holidays. Subject to change at any time. Please message the office if you need to drop something off, or need to come in, to make sure the office is open to patients. Dr. Kim (our doctor for students) is only available in the mornings, 2-3 days per week. Please check availability in the Pomelo portal.
Phone: Please use Pomelo to communicate with front desk staff and manage appointments. MSVU Students: only register by completing this form and emailing it to helen.clark1@msvu.ca. You will then be sent a link to complete registration. If you have issues with Pomelo please call 902 457 6354 and select option 0.
