Where to Find Your Academic Advisor
Prospective students should connect with MSVU’s Recruitment Team or Admissions Office. Please connect with our office once you have your MSVU student ID number, email address, and transcript assessment (if applicable).
It is recommended that students in the following programs reach out to the contacts below for academic advising:
- Public Relations and Communications students, please contact: Kathryn.Britten@msvu.ca
- Education (B.Ed. & Master’s) students, please contact: education@msvu.ca
- All Graduate students, please contact: graduate@msvu.ca or your faculty advisor
Students in all other undergraduate programs at MSVU can book an academic advising appointment with staff advisors in the Centre for Academic Advising & Student Success (CAASS).

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The Centre for Academic Advising and Student Success is booked till March 9th, 2026. We have Same-Day Advising appointments starting from March 10th to March 20th. Regular bookings will return on March 23rd.
Please note that Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 courses are open for viewing on March 10th, and registration will begin on March 17th.
Please book your appointment by calling 902-457-6657 or dropping by Seton Academic Centre, Room 303 during the Same-Day Advising period. We are not accepting pre-booked appointments during this time. - Download and familiarize yourself with Microsoft TEAMS [virtual appointments only]
- Review first-year advising resources [new students]
- Review and complete your program checklist [current students]
- Have your MSVU student ID number accessible
- Create a list of questions you’d like to ask your advisor
