Office 365 at the Mount

Student Email is accessed through myMount.

The University's Student Email Policy can be viewed here.

myMount is the Mount's portal, providing you with personalized access to a number of services, including:

Office 365, WebAdvisor, Email, course registration and financial information.

Use your Mount email address and password. The email naming convention is: firstname.lastname@msvu.ca and may also include a number.

For example:

Monty.Mystic@msvu.ca  has a username mmystic

monty.mystic1@msvu.ca has a username mmystic1

To keep your information private:


1. Protect your username and password.
2. Sign out of myMount and close all browser windows when you are finished.

What is the student email system?
The Mount student email system is Office 365.

How do I login?
Click on the green button above. Use your Mount email address and password to log in.

How to I access my email from a mobile device?

How big is my mailbox?
Your Office 365 email account is 50GB.

What happens when I graduate or leave the Mount?
Your account will be deleted one year after your last course registration.  This also applies to graduates who have not registered for a course after graduation.  You will receive a notification via email approximately two weeks prior to your account being deleted.  Once your account is deleted, you will no longer have access to your OneDrive.  Please back up or save any files you may wish to keep.  You will still be able to use Office 365 apps which are downloaded to your device for up to 30 days, then they will go into read-only mode.  Faculty and staff accounts are deleted on the last day of employment at the Mount.
