2025 Cyber Eats Contest

Chartwells and IT&S present the Cyber Eats contest for Cybersecurity Awareness Month (October). Complete the free Cyber Safety for Students course on Moodle by Oct. 31 for a chance to win one of eight $50 Chartwells gift cards, valid at Rosaria Dining Hall, McCain Café, and Seton Café. If you already did this course last year, take other Beauceron training to qualify.

This series has three different workshops: Basic Computing Skills, Using Office 365 Products, and Finding & Creating Images for Assignments. Each workshop provides tips around the subject matter that will help students when completing assignments.

Fireside Chat with Angela Lewis, Chief Commercial Officer, Stewart McKelvey

Angela brings over 24 years of business leadership experience to her role as Chief Commercial Officer at Stewart McKelvey. She leads the firm’s growth strategy, overseeing branding, business development, client relationship management, communications, events, and sponsorships.
Before joining Stewart McKelvey, Angela built her career with some of Atlantic Canada’s most respected organizations, including McInnes Cooper, Eastlink, Stantec, Knightsbridge Robertson Surette and Fraser & Hoyt.
Outside of work, Angela is an active champion for women’s sport. She can often be found at the rink cheering on her daughters or advancing the game as President of Atlantic Canada’s largest female hockey association, Metro West Force.

Build your own terrarium

This is a free event to de-stress from your work and this busy semester to build your own self-sustaining ecosystem. This event will also be a fundraiser for Phoenix House, a non-profit organization that supports at-risk and homeless youth by providing programs related to shelter, food, housing support, health care, parenting support, recreation, education, employment services, and clinical therapy.

Please RSVP using the link in our bio so we have a rough estimate of the supplies we’ll need. All are welcome!!
If you do not know terrariums are amazing and can last for years after being sealed shut due to their ability to recycle water and nutrients! They make fantastic, zero effort decor for your room!
