External Grants and Contracts
If you intend to apply for an external grant, please notify the Research Office well in advance of agency deadlines. Grants require the signature of an official signing authority of the university. The Associate Vice-President, Research normally vets grant applications, but a minimum of two weeks lead-time is required to properly review documents. If you require help in constructing budgets, the Associate Vice-President, Research should be consulted as soon as an application is being considered. Unfortunately, the Research Office cannot guarantee last minute reviews of grants. For more information on major sources of Canadian federal funding click Tri-Council Agencies.
