Evergreen Evaluation Strategy (Version 1.0)

We are pleased to share the first version of our Evergreen Evaluation Strategy for the Invisible No More Report Card. This evolving, periodically updated document outlines a proposed evaluation framework to assess implementation progress on the 42 recommendations of the landmark parliamentary report, Invisible No More. The Experiences of Canadian Woman Veterans. The Evergreen Evaluation Strategy will guide the development of a 2027 INM Report Card.

Women Veterans Community Update 

April 2026

On April 28, 2026, Dr. Maya Eichler provided a video update on the Invisible No More (INM) Project. Watch it below to learn how the INM Project is helping move the 42 recommendations from Parliament’s 2024 Invisible No More. Experiences of Canadian Women Veterans report into action.

Call for Writing Workshop Participants

The Invisible No More (INM) Project Team at Mount Saint Vincent University is inviting women Veterans to participate in an online writing workshop series. This series is aimed at supporting CAF and RCMP women Veterans in developing their voices as writers and advocates and is not a research study.

Call for Research Participants

The Invisible No More (INM) Project Team at Mount Saint Vincent University is recruiting women Veterans for their study on the implementation of the recommendations of the landmark ACVA report. If you testified or submitted a brief for the ACVA study on the Experience of Women Veterans, you may be eligible to participate. You may also be eligible to participate if you wanted to testify but did not have the opportunity to, or if you were asked to testify but declined.

This resource provides a summary of what the INM Project Team heard during the workshop and reflects the important insights shared by participants. We are grateful to all the workshop participants for their contributions!

Canadian Women Veterans Testify /

We are excited to announce our new resource, “Canadian Women Veterans Testify: “The Experience of Women Veterans” Study by the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs (ACVA)”! Compiled by Veteran Project Partner Caleigh Wong, this resource contains the opening statements and written briefs provided by women Veterans during the study on “The Experience of Women Veterans” by the House of Commons Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs (ACVA), held from March 30, 2023, to May 6, 2024. It is available to view and download in both English and French.

 


Women Veterans Engage: Ottawa Workshop

October 2025

On October 30, 2025, we co-hosted the Women Veterans Engage: Ottawa Workshop, a collaboration between the Centre for Social Innovation and Community Engagement in Military Affairs (SICEMA), the National Association of Federal Retirees (Federal Retirees) and the Women Veterans Research and Engagement Network (WREN). We are grateful to all the workshop participants and organizers who made this event possible!
