Call for Research Participants

 

The Invisible No More Project Team at Mount Saint Vincent University is recruiting women Veterans for their study on the implementation of the recommendations of the landmark ACVA report. If you testified or submitted a brief for the ACVA study on the Experience of Women Veterans, you may be eligible to participate. You may also be eligible to participate if you wanted to testify but did not have the opportunity to, or if you were asked to testify but declined.

Canadian Women Veterans Testify

November 2025

We are excited to announce our new resource: Canadian Women Veterans Testify: “The Experience of Women Veterans” Study by the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs (ACVA)! This resource, compiled by Veteran Project Partner Caleigh Wong, contains the opening statements and written briefs provided by women Veterans during the study on “The Experience of Women Veterans” by the House of Commons Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs (ACVA), held from March 30, 2023, to May 6, 2024. Women Veterans Engage: Ottawa Workshop

October 2025

On October 30, 2025, we co-hosted the Women Veterans Engage: Ottawa Workshop, a collaboration between the Centre for Social Innovation and Community Engagement in Military Affairs (SICEMA), the National Association of Federal Retirees (Federal Retirees) and the Women Veterans Research and Engagement Network (WREN).
