Highlighting the valuable contributions made by family and friends in their caregiver roles, Dr. Keefe presents on the policy changes that could make a positive difference as we encounter personal and system challenges.

University of Alberta hosts Thinking Qualitatively Workshop Series
The International Institute for Qualitative Methodology is offering the Thinking Qualitatively Workshop Series (TQ), June 18-22, 2012 at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This week-long interdisciplinary educational series has been held annually for over a decade now and is aimed at participants from all academic disciplines and for individuals at all stages of their research career. Individuals conducting research in universities and colleges and/or professional settings (e.g., libraries; hospitals; government agencies) are welcome to attend.

Funding Opportunity
Through its Café Scientifique program, CIHR organizes its own Café events but also establishes partnerships with non-profit organizations, universities, research centres, science centres and museums across Canada. If successful, these Café Scientifique partners can expect to receive $3,000 in funding to host their own Café. Please note: these funds can be used to host more than one Café.
