Congratulations, you’ve been accepted to MSVU! We’re thrilled you’ve chosen us as the next step on your educational journey!

No matter when you’ll be starting classes (September, January, or over the summer), there are things you can do to prepare for your arrival. This page is a roadmap to let you know that you’re not on this journey alone.

Pay your confirmation deposit

Accept your offer of admission by paying your non-refundable confirmation deposit. This will guarantee you a seat in your program. Visit our Payment Centre and select from the drop-down menu he confirmation deposit that applies to you.

Apply for residence

The Mount has plenty of options when it comes to where to live. Living on campus is the most convenient way to take part in campus life, enjoy the commute to to class, and build your social network. With the Metro Transit U-Pass, students are able to travel around Halifax with no problems.

Login to MyMount

Your login information is sent to you via e-mail. Use the information to login to MyMount – that’s where you look at course timetables, log into emails, and so much more.

Moodle, on the other hand, is a course management platform used by many professors. Professors can set up and grade quizzes, create assignments, online discussions and more. You can log into Moodle using your username and password.

Many services are available to support you throughout your time at MSVU. You have access to the health office, academic and personal counseling, career planning, and more!

Register for Classes

Determine the date when registration will become open to you. You can also attend a the Early Advising and Registration event to register for classes early. If you are a transfer student, you should contact your faculty advisor. Academic Advising will help you identify the courses you need to graduate, while also helping you plan your course load.

You’ll use the ‘Registration Centre’ in myMount to search for your courses, to create a preferred list and to register for classes. You can also register for course through the Mount app (EllucianGo).

Mount 101 is an online program introduces you to Mount Saint Vincent University, its services, and what you need to know to be the best Mount student you can be.

You’re starting at university so you probably know a thing or two about being a student. But how many times have you heard that university is different than high school? Believe it or not, Mount 101 can take away some of the uncertainty you might be feeling right now. Use Mount 101 to build upon what you already know and see what you can take from the program.

Confirm your Scholarship and Apply for Bursaries

If you received an Entrance Scholarship offer, send your confirmation back before May 15.
