High School Undergraduate Admission Requirements


Bachelor of Arts

  • ENG4U (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Four additional 4U or 4M courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

For Psychology majors, students require Grade 11 or 12 academic or advanced Mathematics. *

For EconomicsMathematics or Public Policy majors, students require Grade 12 academic or advanced Mathematics. *

*Students who lack the required mathematics may register in the BA General Studies program and complete MATH 0027.


Bachelor of Science

  • ENG4U (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • 4U or 4M Mathematics; MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U
  • 4U or 4M Natural Science course; Biology SBI4U, Chemistry SCH4U, Physics SPH4U, Earth & Science SES4U
  • Two additional 4U or 4M courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Arts (Child and Youth Studies)

  • ENG4U (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • 3U or 3M Mathematics and four additional 4U or 4M courses
    OR 
  • 4U or 4M Mathematics and three additional 4U or 4M courses
    OR
  • 4C Mathematics with a grade of 70% or higher and four additional 4U or 4M courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

*Students who lack the required mathematics may be accepted with MATH 0027 condition


Bachelor of Arts (Aging and Family Science)

  • ENG4U (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • 3U or 3M Mathematics and four additional 4U or 4M courses

Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition

  • ENG4U (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)

  • One additional 4U or 4M Natural Science (preferably Biology SBI4U)
  • One additional 4U or 4M courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and

Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management

  • ENG4U (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
