High School Undergraduate Admission Requirements


Bachelor of Arts

  • ELA A30 + ELA B30 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Four additional Grade 12 academic courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

For Psychology majors, students require Grade 11 or 12 academic or advanced Mathematics. *

For EconomicsMathematics or Public Policy majors, students require Grade 12 academic or advanced Mathematics. *

*Students who lack the required mathematics may register in the BA General Studies program and complete MATH 0027.


Bachelor of Science

  • ELA A30 + ELA B30 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Grade 12 academic or advanced Mathematics; Foundations of Mathematics 30, Pre-Calculus 30
  • Grade 12 academic Natural Science course; Biology 30, Chemistry 30 and Physics 30
  • Three additional Grade 12 academic courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Arts (Child and Youth Studies)

  • ELA A30 + ELA B30 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Academic or Advanced Mathematics 20 and four additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR
  • Academic or Advanced Mathematics 30 and three additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR
  • Workplace Apprenticeship 30 with a grade of 70% or higher and four additional Grade 12 academic courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

*Students who lack the required mathematics may be accepted with MATH 0027 condition


Bachelor of Arts (Aging and Family Science)

  • ELA A30 + ELA B30 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Academic or Advanced Mathematics 20 and four additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR 
  • Academic or Advanced Mathematics 30 and three additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR
  • Workplace Apprenticeship 30 with a grade of 70% or higher and four additional Grade 12 academic courses

Bachelor of Public Relations

*This is a limited enrolment program to be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis

  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition

  • ELA A30 + ELA B30 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Grade 12 academic or advanced Mathematics; Foundations of Mathematics 30, Pre-Calculus 30
  • Academic Chemistry 30
  • Grade 12 academic Natural Science course (preferably Biology 30)
  • One additional Grade 12 academic course
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management

  • ELA A30 + ELA B30 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Academic or Advanced Mathematics 30 and three additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR
  • Workplace Apprenticeship 30 with a grade of 70% or higher and four additional Grade 12 academic courses
