High School Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Arts

  • English Language Arts 30-1 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Four additional Grade 12 academic courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

For Psychology majors, students require academic or advanced Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 or Calculus 30. *

For Economics, Mathematics or Public Policy majors, students require academic Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2 or Calculus 30. *

*Students who lack the required mathematics may register in the BA General Studies program and complete MATH 0027.

Bachelor of Science

  • English Language Arts 30-1 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Grade 12 academic or advanced Mathematics; Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 30-2, Calculus 30
  • Grade 12 academic Natural Science course; Biology 30, Chemistry 30 and Physics 30
  • Two additional Grade 12 academic courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Arts (Child and Youth Studies)

  • English Language Arts 30-1 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Mathematics 20-1 or 20-2 and four additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR
  • Mathematics 30-1 or Mathematics 30-2 or Calculus 30 and three additional Grade 12 academic courses
    OR
  • Mathematics 30-3 with a grade of 70% or higher and four additional Grade 12 academic courses
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Arts (Aging and Family Science)

  • English Language Arts 30-1 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
    Mathematics 20-1 or 20-2 and four additional Grade 12 academic courses

Bachelor of Public Relations

  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition

  • English Language Arts 30-1 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Grade 12 academic or advanced Mathematics; Mathematics 30-1, Mathematics 30-2, Calculus 30
  • Chemistry 30
  • One additional Grade 12 academic Nature Science course (preferably Biology 30)
  • One additional Grade 12 academic course
  • An overall average of 70% or higher and
  • No individual grade below 60%

Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management

  • English Language Arts 30-1 (obtain a grade of 65% or higher in this course)
  • Mathematics 30-1 or Mathematics 30-2 or Calculus 30 and three additional Grade 12 academic courses
