Fall is a time of new beginnings not just for students, faculty and staff at Mount Saint Vincent University, but also for the University’s Board of Governors. MSVU’s Board of Governors recently welcomed several new members, including:

Anne McGuire, community volunteer, assumes the role of Chair of the Board, replacing immediate past-chair Colleen Keyes, Partner, Stewart McKelvey. Amanda Dean, Vice-President Atlantic, Insurance Bureau of Canada, is the new Vice Chair.

Mount Saint Vincent University is governed using a bi-cameral governance structure consisting of the Board of Governors and the Senate (responsible for academic affairs). MSVU’s Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the University, including governance and oversight of the University generally, its property, revenues, expenditures, business and affairs.
