Payment can be made by the following payment methods:

    • International Student Payments Via Convera for Students
      (Preferred Method for International Students)
    • Telephone/Internet Banking
The most efficient means of paying student fees is through telephone or internet banking, from a Canadian bank account. Just go to your internet or telephone banking and set up Mount Saint Vincent University as a payee. Use your seven digit student number when prompted for account number. Please allow 2 working days for your payments to be reflected on your fee account.
    • Cheque/Cash/Money order
You can pay your student account fees by cheque, money order or bank draft payable to “MSVU”. Please include your student number and name on the cheque/moneyorder/bank draft. If the cheque is returned to us by our bank for insufficient funds, a service fee of $20 will be charged to your student account. If mailing a cheque, please ensure it is mailed in enough time to be received at the University by the payment deadline to avoid late fees.
    • Debit card
Currently we accept debit card transactions at the service counter in Evaristus Hall. Students are advised to check with your bank to ensure that your card has the appropriate limit to pay your fees. Most financial institutions are able to increase your daily limit temporarily upon request.
    • Credit Card
Credit card payments are not accepted as a form of payment for tuition, residence and related fees. Students can pay application fees, residence and confirmation deposits and intent to graduate fees using credit card through the PAY NOW button. Certain other retail outlets such as parking, bookstore and conference services accept credit cards as well as the Advancement Office for donations.
    • Student Loan
    • Scholarships and Bursaries

All payments remitted to the University will be applied to the oldest debt from the oldest term except for deposits which will be applied to the appropriate term.

Overpayments will automatically be applied against the following term or may be refunded on request after the course withdrawal deadlines by emailing financial.services@msvu.ca.
