Mark your calendar for February 25, 2023, because you’re not going to want to miss the first Family STEAM Day at Mount Saint Vincent University.

This FREE event is open to the community – attendees of ALL ages are welcome.

WHEN: Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE: 4th floor of the Seton Academic Centre at MSVU, 166 Bedford Highway [campus map], free parking onsite

With the involvement of community partners and MSVU Bachelor of Education pre-service teachers, the event will provide exciting hands-on and minds-on activities suitable for all those with curious and inquiring minds. You can expect exhibits, demos, games and more across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Event leads include Dr. Gerald Tembrevilla in the Faculty of Education, Dr. Tamara Franz-Odendaal NSERC Chair for Women in Science and Engineering – Atlantic Region and biology faculty member, and WISEatlantic. The 1st Family STEAM Day is funded by a SSHRC Exchange Grant and is being held as part of MSVU’s 150th anniversary activities.
