Current and graduating students and alumni, join us online or in-person for the 2024 Job Club on Friday March 8 at McCain 301 or MS Teams.
This event is a great opportunity, providing valuable resources on securing part-time/full-time summer jobs and post-graduation opportunities.
2024 Job Club will feature FREE informative sessions (hybrid):
You choose which session(s) to attend!
- 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. What “Not to Do” Resumes and Cover Letters
- 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Plan 3 Achievable Job Search Goals
- 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Update or Create your LinkedIn Profile and QR Code
- 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Learning Passport Eligible Crash Course in Job Searching, featuring elevator pitch creation and the best-of-the-best job search platforms.
- 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Business Card Creation. Please ensure you have your laptop with you and familiarize yourself with Canva. If you don’t have an account already, create a free account. Step-by-step instructions on how to use it will be provided during the session. Career Services will cover the cost to print 20 business cards for you with the MSVU Print Shop.
Please be aware that seating for in-person attendance is limited and it will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Snacks will be provided for in-person attendance.
