Even in light of the economic instability, more employers than ever are turning out for the Halifax Career Fair’s Summer Job Fair. More than 60 local national and international recruiters will gather at the Cunard Center on Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 to converse with students about exciting summer jobs.
The Summer Job Fair is the perfect opportunity for students and employers to find their fit. Students are put in touch with exhibitors from the provincial, federal, and municipal governments as well as leading companies from across the country, while employers gain perspective into what it takes to recruit the highly talented and motivated Generation Y worker. A student ID or alumni card from one of the three organizing universities must be presented to gain admittance to the fair.
This fair is a successful partnership between Mount Saint Vincent University, Saint Mary’s University and Dalhousie University, with support from the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Workforce Development as the presenting sponsor.
