The Atlantis Conference 2025, themed Revolution & Resurgence: Celebrating Feminist Publishing is happening on November 28-29. This hybrid conference marks the 50th anniversary of Atlantis: Critical Studies in Gender, Culture, and Social Justice, bringing together feminist researchers, writers, and professionals from diverse backgrounds. We would greatly appreciate your help in giving this event wide publicity.
Conference details are as follows:
Dates: Friday, November 28 – Saturday, November 29, 2025
Location: Hybrid – McCain Centre, MSVU / Microsoft Teams
Keynote Speaker:
- Hannah McGregor – Associate Professor and Director of the Publishing program at Simon Fraser University, Canada.
Literary Readings
- Tiffany Morris – an L’nu’skw (Mi’kmaw) writer from Nova Scotia.
- Asha Abdosh – an 18-year-old writer and poet with Ethiopian roots.
Registration for the conference can be completed online.
The conference has also made provisions for 30 free full conference registrations and 50 keynote-only registrations for students at Mount Saint Vincent University, Dalhousie University, and Saint Mary’s University. Student registration poster is attached, which includes a QR code students can scan to register. Alternatively, students can register for full conference registration or for keynote only registration.
