MSVU Mystics Women’s Soccer Team

This past weekend was one to celebrate for our Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics!

The MSVU Mystics were named the ACAA women’s soccer champions for a second consecutive season with a 3-1 victory over the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves.

This championship win sends them to the CCAA Nationals where they’ll represent the ACAA from November 5th to 8th, 2025, in Red Deer, Alberta.

The three MSVU goals of the championship game were scored by Emma Farrell, Maria Antle, and Mhyah Allen.

Kenadie Wagg was named the Mystics Player of the Game.

Additionally, this weekend, the MSVU Mystics women’s cross country team placed second at the ACAA Championships.

Bronwnyn Murphy, Madesen Allen, and Amani Oystreck all finished in the top 10, securing them the second-place team position, just three points behind the first place Mount Allison Mounties.

Luke Conlon was the top finisher for the Mystics men’s cross country team, placing 15th. The men placed sixth in the team standings.

Both the women’s and men’s cross country teams will compete at the CCAA championships hosted by Holland College on November 8, 2025.

The MSVU Mystics men’s soccer team also competed in the ACAA championship, but lost a tough game in semi-final action against University of King’s College Blue Devils. Muhammed Hamo was named the Mystics Player of the Game.

Seven Mystics earned ACAA conference honours ahead of the championships.

Morgan Gillis of MSVU Mystics women’s soccer was named ACAA Goal Keeper of the Year and First Team All-Conference.

Joining Gillis on the first team is Ashley Neves and Kenadie Wagg. Emma Farrell and Mhyah Allen earned Second Team All-Conference.

From the MSVU Mystics men’s soccer team, Cooper McVicar-Smith was named First Team All-Conference and Noah Hutchison-Mills earned Second Team All-Conference.
