ARC LTC PROJECT RELEASES FIFTH VIDEO: We are happy to share our fifth animated video! COVID-19 was a difficult time for people living and working in long-term care homes with many homes under-staffed and workers feeling stressed and overwhelmed. But have things improved since then? Our research explored this question by speaking with staff in 7 long-term care homes across Nova Scotia in 2021 and again in 2024. While we recognize there are still many challenges, our research shows there have been some improvements since the COVID-19 pandemic. Care aides report feeling less rushed when providing care and feeling less anxious and exhausted in 2024 compared to 2021. You can watch the video here: click here  We would love to hear your feedback! Complete our 2-minute questionnaire to help us improve our videos and tell us what topics you want us to explore next. https://surveys.msvu.ca/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=518618&lang=en This video was produced with funding from the Long-Term Care Innovation Pilot Fund, Mount Saint Vincent University made possible by Shannex Incorporated and The Reciprocity Foundation.
