Advanced Placement Program
MSVU participates in the Advanced Placement Program administered by the College Board in Princeton, New Jersey.
Students must arrange for the College Board to send an official transcript of their final AP exam results to the Registrar’s Office as soon as it becomes available. Transcripts may be submitted via email to undergraduate.documents@msvu.ca or in a sealed envelope by mail or courier.
Transcripts submitted by a student’s high school are not sufficient for AP transfer credit consideration and will not be automatically assessed. If you are seeking AP transfer credits, please email admissions@msvu.ca to request a transfer credit assessment.
Deadline: Transfer credit requests must be assessed before you complete your first term at Mount Saint Vincent University.
Students may receive up to a maximum of 5.0 units of transfer credits for the following Advanced Placement Examinations, provided they have achieved grades of 4 or 5:

| Economics | ECON 1101 & ECON 1102 |
| English | 1.0 unit of ENGL (English elective) at the 1000 level |
| Environmental Science | 1.0 unit of SCIE (Science elective) at the 1000 level |
| French | 1.0 unit of FREN (French elective) at the 1000 level |
| History | 1.0 unit of HIST (History elective) at the 1000 level |
| Physics | PHYS 1101 & PHYS 1102 |
| Political Studies | POLS 1001 & POLS 1002 |
| Psychology | PSYC 1110 & PSYC 1120 |
| Spanish | SPAN 1101 & SPAN 1102 |
| Statistics | MATH 2208 & MATH 2209 |
