The Government of Canada has announced that most study permit applications for undergraduate programs at all Canadian post-secondary institutions will need to be accompanied by a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) from the Canadian province where you plan to study.

Applications for Fall 2027 will open on September 21, 2026.

The application will ask for information about any previous education you have completed. You will also be asked what program you are applying for, and when you wish to start. After you complete the application, you will need to pay the application fee.
