Math Placement Test (in person)

We have three sessions to take the Math Placement Test: Tuesday, September 2, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (in person Seton 329/331); Tuesday, September 2, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Online); or Friday, September 5, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Online).
Students who plan on taking MATH 1102, MATH 1113 and Math 2500 (Pre-Calculus I, Calculus I, Stats Models and Data Analysis) must take a math placement test prior to registration. The following exceptions apply:
- If you have completed MATH 0027 (or a verified transfer credit equivalent) with a grade of C in the last 3 years you are able to register in MATH 1102 without taking the placement test.
- If you have completed MATH 1103 (or a verified transfer credit equivalent) you are able to register in MATH 1113 without taking the placement test.
Register for the placement test by emailing MSVUMath@msvu.ca at least 24 hours ahead of time. Practice questions and test information can be found on the Mathematics & Statistics Department website msvu.ca/mathematics. Any course registration inquiries can be sent to MSVUmath@msvu.ca.

A candid talk about sex, consent, and communication. Your chance to ask Venus Envy your questions about hooking up! Venus Envy is an award-winning, education-based sex shop, and bookstore. We’ve been around since 1998 selling sex toys, debunking myths, and offering the sex education we never got in high school. Join the MSVUSU for a fun-filled evening of BINGO and trivia, for the chance to win some sensational sex toy prizes!
Smudging
Staff from MSVU’s Indigenous Student Centre will be on campus offering quiet smudging stations throughout Orientation. Ask your Orientation leaders about their locations.
Crows’ Nest Rest Area
