It is an exciting time for students who have decided to pursue or further post-secondary studies. Orientation includes a series of events and activities designed to help the newest Mount students explore all that awaits, both socially and academically.

Next Steps Hub

You're a new Mount student. You've applied, been accepted, and paid your deposit. You're coming to the Mount - and we're thrilled you've chosen us as the next step on your educational journey! Well now it's time to take care of those things that come next. Be sure you've taken care of all the necessities. Get Started on Mount 101

Mount 101 is a free program for all incoming undergraduate students. It's your survival guide for your first year at the Mount, consisting of:

The Online Program: designed to help you transition to your new life at university, to help prepare you for class, and to let you know about all that the Mount has to offer.

The Mount Mentors: a team of upper-level students who can give you the tricks and tools to succeed at the Mount. Your Mount Mentor is here to support you throughout the whole year.

Orientation Kits

A Mount Orientation Kit is a SWAG BAG and is every new student's all-in-one Orientation package for events, university gear, and student specials.In each kit you will find:

  • Information about everything the Mount has to Offer
  • Your Orientation Week All Access Bracelet
  • Coupons for freebies and discounts at local and campus businesses
  • Tickets to all ORIENTATION events
  • Your official MOUNT ORIENTATION T-shirt
  • University gear and swag such as: lanyards, water bottles, clip boards, note pads, umbrellas, pens, flashlights, mugs etc. - all in a special Mount Orientation kit bag!
