Welcome to People and Culture

At MSVU, the People & Culture team supports what matters most: our people. We work to create a positive environment that reflects the university’s strong commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA).
Our People & Culture model goes beyond traditional human resources. It focuses not only on supporting individuals, but also on shaping the culture where they work.  Through the new Office of Equity, Indigenous Relations, and Human Rights, we are taking a coordinated and collaborative approach to EDIA initiatives.

Our Pillars

Integrated EDIA: Make EDIA principles part of everything we do—our policies, processes, and daily interactions.

Strategic Human Resources: Build a modern HR team that attracts and keeps excellent employees.

Culture of Belonging: Create a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone feels they belong.

Organizational Development: Strengthen MSVU by carefully planning how we grow and improve as an institution.

In our work, we emphasize reconciliation and the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives.
