Who We Are

Need help getting your message out? Communications and Marketing will work with you to determine a strategic approach to meet your communications and marketing goals and objectives, audiences, collateral requirements, budget, and more.

As the university’s in-house creative and strategic communications team, we’re passionate about sharing what makes MSVU extraordinary. From high-impact media campaigns to engaging storytelling, we work collaboratively to champion the university’s mission, values, and vision.

Advanced planning is critical to designing and implementing effective communications strategies. To request communications support, please contact us at least two to four weeks in advance of your event or project launch date.

What We Do

We’re storytellers, strategists, designers, digital experts, and brand stewards dedicated to advancing the university’s reputation and strengthening its connections with the world.

We manage the university’s official publications, oversee the design and content of the main website, and guide the look, tone, and feel of everything that carries the university name. We develop campaigns, craft messaging, and handle social media strategy and execution to drive engagement and boost visibility.

When it comes to strategic communications, reputation management, events, presentations, and high-impact design, we’re here to help tell your story in memorable and meaningful ways. We also offer editorial and speechwriting support, media relations, crisis and issues management, strategic advertising placement and hands-on project management for initiatives big and small.

Our approach is always collaborative. We work with teams across campus to design communications that speak clearly, look polished, and most importantly, resonate.
