 | Despite his rhetorical mastery and knowledge of scholars such as Kenneth Burke, Heidegger, and Frye, Dr. Wade Kenny was recently left speechless after learning he would be honoured with the 2012 Mount Saint Vincent Alumnae Award for Teaching Excellence. Dr. Kenny, an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies, credits his students with securing his win. |
| The Mount will honour three outstanding leaders in the fields of literature, business, and political ethics as part of Spring Convocation ceremonies May 17 and 18. More than 600 students will graduate from the Mount with a wide range of degrees in Arts, Science, Education, and professional programs. Convocation ceremonies will be streamed live on the University website. |
 | The Mount has launched a virtual Wall of Honour to celebrate the lives of everyday women. Unique in Canada, the project will use personal tributes and photos to tell the stories of mothers, daughters, teachers, and mentors from all walks of life.The Women’s Wall of Honour will be housed outside the new Margaret Norrie McCain Centre for Teaching, Learning and Research at Mount Saint Vincent University. |
