 Michelle Camara THUMB

Valedictorian Profile: Michelle, Camara, BA

Michelle, the daughter of a Mount alumna, came to the Mount from Bermuda on a quest for small classes and a warm, communal atmosphere. Michelle contributed significantly to student life at the Mount, as an avid volunteer with the Students’ Union and as the most recent Programming Manager for the Fountain Play Centre, a unique childcare service on campus.

 Vanessa MacLellan THUMB

Vanessa MacLellan leaves behind five years, three internships, and hundreds of volunteer hours as she takes her next step as a Registered Dietitian. While at the Mount, Vanessa’s kind approach and innate leadership abilities led her to accumulate an impressive co-curricular record and notable awards, including the 2010 Young Woman of Distinction Award.

 Andrea Colley THUMB

Valedictorian Profile: Andrea Colley, BA, BEd

Andrea Colley credits her fearless outlook on life to her large family, her three children and her favourite poem: MaryAnn Williamson’s Our Greatest Fear. Andrea began her studies almost a decade ago, enrolled as an undergraduate student. Her ability to juggle family life, community involvement and academics has been an inspiration to those who know her, and she does it with an ear-to-ear smile.

 Dr Wade Kenny THUMB

Mount Associate Professor to be recognized for teaching excellence by Alumnae Association

Despite his rhetorical mastery and knowledge of scholars such as Kenneth Burke, Heidegger, and Frye, Dr. Wade Kenny was recently left speechless after learning he would be honoured with the 2012 Mount Saint Vincent Alumnae Award for Teaching Excellence.
