Orientation COVID-19 Protocols

Your health and safety is important to us. All in-person Orientation events are following Nova Scotia Public Health guidelines and the MSVU Return to Campus Plan. For Orientation, this means that:

  • Registration is required for all in-person events.
  • Participants will be required to check in and complete a COVID self-screening at each in-person event.
  • Masks are mandatory at all in-person events (indoors and outdoors), except when eating or drinking.
  • Participants must maintain physical distancing.
  • There is limited capacity at in-person events.
  • We encourage you to get tested regularly and to ensure that you are vaccinated against COVID-19. As of August 23, 2021, MSVU will be requiring all students, faculty, and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible and by October 13 at the latest.
