Small Wonders, Incredible Discoveries

We learned a great deal putting this edition of Folia together. The incredible work being done by faculty and researchers on this campus is impressive. We could have written more than one edition on the discoveries taking place and we vow to share more of this news, more regularly than just once a year. Enjoy.

The Magazine's history

First developed by the Mount Saint Vincent Academy in 1915, Folia Montana was derived from the words “folia” meaning “leaves” (of a tree/yearbook) and “montana” meaning “mountain” (the Mount).

Folia Montana has reached a circulation of more than 17,000 and maintains and strengthens the connection among alumnae, friends and the University through coverage of newsworthy accomplishments, discussion of campus issues, information on Alumnae Association events and activities and the sharing of class notes.
