The values that have guided Mount Saint Vincent for almost 150 years are the same values we are relying upon now as we face a truly unprecedented period in our history. We are fiercely committed to our students and have come together as a University community in support of them during this pandemic. Immediate impacts of COVID-19 (such as shifting to online classes and moving to a work from home environment) were, out of necessity, addressed first and we then turned our minds to the future sustainability of the institution and longer-term implications for students.

With that in mind, we have developed the President’s Student Relief Fund. The fund has been established to provide both emergency support for our students – in assisting with access to housing, food and mental health services – as well as longer term support in the establishment of bursaries designed to aid them as they face unparalleled financial insecurity in the fall.

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to the fund. The spirit and strength that the Mount community possesses never ceases to amaze, and we will always remember your support. If you would like to donate to the President’s Student Relief Fund, you can do so on the online donation form.
