New! Student Software Support Service

Harsh Jasani is the new Student Software Support Assistant with the Teaching and Learning Centre and Online Learning. This peer-to-peer support service for students is available on a part-time basis each week and is to assist students with using various software and apps used for completing course work in online courses.

Harsh is ready to receive requests from students for assistance with using Word, Excel, PowerPoint (header styles, page numbering, table of contents, charts and graphs, track changes and more); Office 365 apps such as Yammer, Stream and OneDrive; and help with using SPSS and Minitab.

How to request support


Please email to describe what you need assistance with, then Harsh will reply to you and depending on the nature of your request a virtual meeting can be scheduled in Skype or Teams if needed.

Blackboard Collaborate Drop-In Sessions

While Harsh is working, he will be easily available to meet with you in a drop-in Collaborate session. The schedule for these sessions will be posted this week.


Teams is the newest Office 365 app available to all Mount students, faculty and staff. It is another great virtual meeting space for everyone. If you need assistance using Teams, just let us know.
