Research Overview

My research investigates neural markers of attention control and action monitoring, with a particular focus on the medial frontal cortex. I primarily use EEG combined with behavioural (response, eye tracking) and cognitive measures and apply various signal processing and statistical techniques to understand how frontal brain systems mediate goal-directed behaviour. My work often incorporates developmental and clinical perspectives to unpack how neural markers of attention and action monitoring are related to typical and atypical development.

Content areas

  • attention control and action monitoring
  • typical and atypical development
  • EEG methods and “big data” for large scale human neuroscience
