The safety of all members of the MSVU community is of utmost importance. As we gradually adjust our on-campus operations, we want to be sure you have the information you need to protect yourself and those around you.

The Library

The MSVU Library & Archives team is pleased to welcome all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to campus. No special bookings or reservations are required to visit the Library, but be sure to complete an online health assessment each day that you visit campus.

The Library’s available on-campus services include document delivery pickup, printing/scanning, bookable study rooms, in-person research appointments, etc. Virtual services such as online research appointments and LibChat continue to be available for students and researchers working remotely.

Library returns are available in person during our hours of operation; 24/7 via the blue return bin outside EMF, or at participating borrow anywhere return anywhere (BARA) libraries.

Online health assessment form

All those coming to campus must complete the health assessment form (before you come) on the day of your pre-arranged visit. It only needs to be completed if you will be on campus that day. A reminder that you should not come to campus if you have any symptoms of COVID-19.

General safety reminders

Masks are required in common indoor spaces on campus. Those coming on campus also need to ensure physical distancing between themselves and others, practice coughing and sneezing etiquette, and ensure frequent handwashing. We strongly recommend washing your hands when you arrive on campus. Though hand washing with soap and water is best, additional hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout campus.
