MSVU Faculty Association Bargaining Updates

Update: Bargaining Continues with MSVU Faculty Association

October 20, 2023

I am writing to provide you with an update on negotiations between MSVU’s Board of Governors and the MSVU Faculty Association (MSVUFA).

The bargaining teams met in late May, paused for the summer, and resumed bargaining in September. The bargaining teams are in the early stages of negotiations and presenting of proposals.

The MSVUFA has chosen to file for conciliation. A conciliator is expected to be appointed by Conciliation and Mediation Services in the coming weeks.

The University remains committed to the collective bargaining process and continuing to meet with the MSVUFA negotiations team.
